Dear Baby Spinach Farm,
I hope that you no longer water your greens with farm runoff that makes people sick and babies die. I trust you learned your lesson a few years back. I trust you so much that mi casa ate sixteen ounces of your baby greens in one week. Mostly it's because of this recipe, which I often drink for breakfast. Everyone loves it!
My daughter will soon be upon those adolescent years when calcium intake is vital for growth, and the lack thereof can affect you for years to come. She hates milk, but this drink is making up for it.
Signed,
Mrs. Olsen

WOW, you've convinced me. I'll give it a try...it's not that appetizing looking, but it sounds pretty tasty, so based solely on YOUR recommendation, we'll make it!
Maybe I'll make this for my activity days girls on St. Patricks day. Really think they would try it?
I love finding your comments on my blog, Mrs. O. I have had so much fun getting to know you cyberly. I totally feel like we hang out. Sometimes I'll say, "Hey, Blake, guess what Amber said today?"
I totally think they would try it! All my kids love it...8, 4, and 2. Plus, green slime is cool.
I have a non-milk drinker . . . but he's also a non-orange juice drinker. In fact, he told me the other day, "Water is the best thing you can drink." Which is true. Unfortunately, he could really use the calcium in any way, shape, or form. I'll try it for St. Patrick's Day, too.
I'm intrigued. My 11 year old just might go for the green slime thing. It actually seems like it would be pretty tasty.
gross
just kidding - i actually like this drink i just wanted to be a brat again - cuz I can - cuz you're my sissy and you're required to love me for life. Isn't that cool that I can be a loved smartass?

Niki...you are in your own world now aren't you? Too much Boston Creme Pie for you (and YES I'm pretty sure they spell creme wrong on purpose).
Did anybody make this? Let me know what you think? It's delish!
I made this last night, but I had to make a substitution because I didn't have a banana. So I used a peach. Verdict: hubby had two servings, 2 year old drained her sippy cup dry, 11 year old gagged it down with the bribe of caramel popcorn later in the evening -I thought he would totally go for it where it looked like slime, I think his issue with it was 99% pschological.... (He said he would like it better with a banana, which I will do next time) And I had some for dinner, and then sipped on it again while I watched Wives and Daughters in my bed with my laptop. It was tasty. I will definitely do this again, I love all the health benefits that come from spinach, and this drink gives you a lot of vitamins and minerals in just a few gulps! Thanks for the recipe!
If you add some frozen blueberries, the color turns mostly purple, making it more easy to swallow for some :)
I just made it again...with a banana and HE LIKED IT!!! It's really, really tasty. I've been making it a lot lately. Thanks for the recipe!
