Second Week of Tragedy for Mrs. Olsen

Why meeEeee?

Please help.

Seriously, I need a good vacuum. I don't know what my budget is. Dyson on the ball looks so fun and delightful....but bagless vacuums seem filthy and dirty. What do you have? Are you a smart consumer? Consult me!

The funny thing about this clip (which you probably were forwarded about 10 times over the holidays) is that I would have looooved to get a vacuum. The Mister of the House, are you reading this? No doghouse if you bring me a good vacuum sometime...;)

Mom got me a Panasonic vacuum a few years ago for Christmas that works pretty good. I'd agree about the bagless--I've heard they are a mess.

Amber, actually, I hadn't seen the Doghouse video and I loved it. But, you definitely deserve a good vacuum - hope you get it! Also, I love the way you edit your pictures....great job!

My mom, Annalee, Marin all have Dysons and love them. I've used my mom's a lot and if it can clean up after her farmer husband, that's good enough for me. Mine is an old hand-me-down that will probably experience a fate similar to yours in the near future.

While writing the above comment my 2 yr-old took off her pants and diaper and peed on the floor. Maybe a Rug Doctor is in order at my house.

Panasonic is the best. It might be $500, though, but definitely cheaper than a Kirby.

My vacuum is Eureka Boss smart vac upright. It was the best value in the Consumer's Guide last year. It costs about $130.00 and works great. Of course, my three previous vacuums that have all died on me have been a hand-me-down from G Cooper (the green wonder that mom had forever as well), a hand-me-down from Gwen and Bob's condo in Boise, and a hand-me-down from my Seattle "grandparent" neighbor's lakehouse that they had had for 30 years. SOoo I'm not hard to please in the vacuum area. It's a good deal, it sucks, has great attachments, is light and only costs me a little over $100.00. Love ya.

I had about 10 people on facebook raving about the Dyson. There has been a Dyson Revolution going on while I wasn't looking.
